Tiffanie J Smith is a 29-year-old New Jersey native who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass
Media Communications - Public Relations and Advertising - from Oral Roberts University. Lauding more
than seven years of a successful career in the public relations and communications industry, Tiffanie had
an “epiphany” and realized she possessed an uncanny passion for wedding and event planning. Deciding
to make a career out of her new found niche, she earned her wedding planning certification from the
Wedding Planning Institute (WPI).
McKinnon brings a fresh, new and innovative perspective to preliminary event ideas and concepts. I
guess you can kind of say “it’s in her blood”. From Weddings to Sweet 16’s to press conferences and
everything in between, her incomparable ability to orchestrate small details to achieve the “big picture” has
allowed her to successfully execute the smallest and greatest of events.
“As a home-based planner, I seized the opportunity to learn and apply valuable information from the
Wedding Planning Institute for my brides, ” says owner Tiffanie. Smith not only works hard but smart to not
only meet but exceed her bridal clientele needs and expectations. “I view every wedding as a creative
opportunity to push the lmits of fantasy, class and style for my clients and vendors to achieve the perfect
fit and fulfill every individual bride’s dream of the perfect wedding. I am a firm believer that One plans a
wedding but most importantly prepares for a marriage if it is to last. My deepest desire in entering this
industry is to be apart of planning unforgettable weddings and facilitating lasting marriages."
Prior to founding Epiphany Events, “Tiff” (as she is affectionately called) had successfully attracted national,
regional and local media attention for her PR clients working with such brands as Revlon, Comcast, The
Ritz Theatre, MarieBelle Fine Treats & Chocolates, Physicians for A National Health Program, Chupa
Chups, Smarties Candies, Dax haircare, Dr. Miracle's, New Jersey Poison Information Education System,
National Association of Homecare and Hospice's Caring Institute, The Colomer Group, and The American
Cities Foundation to name a few.
Mrs. Smith placed 1st runner-up in the Miss Black USA New Jersey Pageant in August of 2006. In October
of 2005, she appeared on a NY's WB morning newscast previewing a modeling contest. In 2003, she was
second place winner of the National Association of Hispanic Journalist 'Spirit in the Words' contest. Tiffanie
is an avid Latin and ballroom dancer and enjoys performing, choreographing and creating. Look for her
networking, salsa dancing and encouraging young aspiring wedding planners to pursue their dreams. In
September of 2009, Tiffanie designed and executed her very own vintage-inspired outdoor wedding. She
currently resides in Gloucester County New Jersey with her newlywed husband Donald Smith and their
French bulldog, Henry Pierre Smith.
